Introduction. One of the most important decisions in your life is deciding in your career. Not only will a carrier choice affect your income and lifestyle, but it also will have a major impact on your happiness and self-fulfillment. Today it’s much more difficult to get a well-paid job. We are working on the problem «JOB HUNTING». The choice of a theme of this paper is caused by the interest in studying of this question byway of teaching it in universities and in real life, in business life. The basic theme of this paper is the question on recurrent words and word combination in business English. Business recurrent words and word combination, represent what can probably be described as the most colourful part of the language`s vocabulary in business. The paper consists of two basic parts: theoretical and practical ones, which examine one problems, but from the different corners of sight. The theoretical part includes some subitems. At first it is necessary to tell some words about terms: ”job announcement”, ”resume”, ”job application” and ”a cover letter” which are the main ones in the paper and should be definite. Taking into account the opportunities, which are given by the knowledge of business language, it is easy to estimate a role of studying this material at university, it is natural that the beginning of presenting some items of this phenomenon to students is necessary to start from that moment, as soon as students would have the sufficient lexical base for this purpose. It would be desirable to note the works of some authors, which were used in this work, such as: Juliet A. Shahbagova, Ludmila L. Grafova. A businessman`s treasure-trove. Business etiquette, business speeches, business correspondence, Богатский И.С., Дюканова Н.М. Бизнес-курс английского языка. Словарь-справочник, etc. This paper is designed for managers in sphere of employment, job seekers, students. Let’s study to the regular procedure of getting a job.

Заключение

Conclusion. Having analysed recurrent words and word combination in business English we came to general conclusions. A cover letter is the job seeker\'s introduction to the employer or recruiter. It highlights a few specific points in the job seeker\'s experience and skills that match or exceed the requirements of the job. It should be written to address the employer or recruiter\'s concerns. Recruitment agent — get truthful information about the name, age, education of the applicant, his former job, knowledge of foreign languages, reasons to change working place, ask if he can present a record of former employment, request him (her) to fill up an application form and resume, arrange an appointment in a week’s time. Job announcement, resume, job application and a cover letter have basic recurrent words and word combination.
